About the Hospital
King Khalid Hospital (KKH) was opened on March 27, 1984. The hospital has maintained its leadership in the region since its establishment until today, being the only reference hospital in the region with the multiplicity of services and specialties available in it. The hospital is the largest in terms of its clinical, operational and absorptive capacity, with actual amount of about 300 beds. Najran Health relied on King Khalid Hospital, with its capabilities in developing new health care services technologies in the region, whether in the field of diagnostic and therapeutic medical services or non-medical services in the fields of information systems, security and safety of facilities. Najran Health also relied on it to activate the policies of the Ministry of Health and keep it up-to-date as a model hospital for the rest of the region’s hospitals.
About the Department
During 2016, King Khaled Hospital obtained a license to “practice nuclear medicine” from King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy, represented by the National Center for Radiation Protection.
