King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh, the capital city of Saudi Arabia, was established by a royal decree in May 1983. With a bed capacity of 690 beds, it provides all types of care to all National Guard soldiers and their families, starting from primary health care up to tertiary specialized care.
About the Departments
There are (2) nuclear medicine departments in King Abdulaziz Medical City, Main nuclear medicine department and Advanced Cardiac Imaging department. The main nuclear medicine department is divided into (3) units.

The are (3) nuclear medicine units located in King Fahad Hospital and King Abdullah Specialized Children’s HospitalEquipment and Utilities
Advanced Cardiac Imaging Department
The Advanced Cardiac Imaging department is part of King Abdulaziz Cardiac Center which is located in King Fahad HospitalEquipment and Utilities
